How to Play UNO Super
The card game everyone knows. Online with friends, wild cards, draw fours.
UNO Super is the shed-your-hand card game with a full 108-card deck: numbers 0 to 9 in four colours, Skip, Reverse, Draw Two, Wild and Wild Draw Four. Match the top discard by colour or number, play action cards to hurt the next player, and be the first to empty your hand. Forgetting to call UNO on your second-last card costs you two cards.
The version here lets you play online in rooms with a code, jump into Quick Match, or play 2 to 4 seats against bots. What sets it apart are the three house-rule toggles (Stacking, 7-0 and Force Play) and a Best of 3 match mode against the computer where the winner collects the card points left in every other hand.
Controls
- Tap a card in your hand to play it; unplayable cards stay dim.
- Tap the draw pile to draw. If the drawn card is playable, a PLAY IT / KEEP choice appears (unless Force Play is on).
- Tap the UNO! button before playing your second-last card to arm the call.
- When you play a Wild, tap one of the four colour tiles in the PICK A COLOR popup.
- With 7-0 on, playing a 7 opens a SWAP HANDS WITH... picker.
How to play, step by step
- Choose Quick Match, Play Online (create or join a room) or VS Computer.
- In VS Computer pick 2, 3 or 4 players and 1 Round or Best Of 3, then set house rules.
- On your turn, play a card matching the top discard by colour or value, or any Wild.
- If you cannot play, draw one. Playable drawn cards may be played immediately.
- Press UNO! when you are about to go down to one card.
Rules and scoring
- The first discard is never a Wild or action card; the game redraws until a number shows.
- Missing the UNO call while going to one card adds a two-card penalty automatically.
- Stacking: a Draw Two may be answered with another Draw Two, and Draw Fours stack with Draw Fours; the pile total lands on the first player who cannot answer.
- 7-0 Rule: a 7 lets you swap hands with any player, a 0 rotates every hand one seat in play direction.
Tips to score higher
- Hold Wild Draw Four for the moment an opponent shows one card; it is the strongest UNO block you have.
- Track colours: the bot chooses the colour it holds most of, so a sudden colour change tells you its hand.
- The bots call UNO about 88 percent of the time; watch for the miss and it will draw two on its own.
- With Stacking on, keep one Draw Two in hand as insurance rather than playing it early.
- With 7-0 on, a 7 played while you hold the biggest hand is a free swap into someone's near-empty hand.
- In Best of 3, dumping high cards (Wilds are worth the most) early protects your points if you lose the round.
Modes and challenges
- Quick Match: instant online game with a stranger.
- Play Online: room code, invite link, add or remove bots, host picks house rules.
- VS Computer: 2 to 4 seats, single round or Best of 3 with card-point scoring.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I forget to press UNO?
The engine checks the moment you play down to one card. If the UNO button was not armed you draw two cards instantly and a toast tells the table you missed it.
Can I stack a Draw Two on a Draw Four?
No. Stacking only chains cards of the same type: Draw Two on Draw Two and Draw Four on Draw Four.
How are Best of 3 points counted?
When a round ends, the winner adds up every card left in the other hands. Numbers count face value, action cards more, Wilds the most.
Does Reverse work with two players?
Yes, it behaves like a Skip, so you get another turn straight away, which is the standard two-player rule.
