How to Play Tez Reflex
Reaction, Stroop and go/no-go speed drills. Train your reflexes daily.
Tez Reflex is a short brain-speed test made of three timed drills. Reaction measures how fast you tap after a pad turns green. Stroop shows a colour word printed in a different ink and asks for the ink colour, not the word. Go/No-Go flashes circles and squares and only circles may be tapped. Together they take about 90 seconds and produce one Reflex Score.
It suits people who like measurable improvement. Each run is scored on speed and accuracy, your best is saved, a rolling rating places you in tiers from Rookie to Legend, and the last twelve scores are drawn as a trend line. There is a day streak and a coin reward for scores over 500. Every drill is guided, so you just tap Start.
Controls
- Reaction: tap the pad the instant it turns green; early taps are false starts.
- Stroop: tap the colour button matching the ink of the word.
- Go/No-Go: tap circles, never tap red squares.
- Mouse clicks work on desktop; each phase starts with a guide card you tap.
How to play, step by step
- Tap Start Workout; Reaction runs five trials with random one to three second waits.
- Stroop runs 20 seconds: read the ink colour, ignore the word, tap, repeat.
- Go/No-Go runs 20 seconds: tap circles fast, leave squares alone.
- The result shows Reflex Score, tier, average reaction time and accuracies.
- Below your best you get one free ad retry that keeps the better score.
Rules and scoring
- Reaction points per trial: 420 minus 0.9 times milliseconds, max 320; false starts score 0.
- Stroop: 70 points per correct answer plus up to 50 for speed; wrong answers cost points.
- Go/No-Go: about 68% circles; hits earn 50 plus up to 40, with a shrinking response window.
- Tiers: Quick 600, Sharp 1100, Rapid 1600, Elite 2200, Legend 3000.
- Coins at 500+: 20, 40 at 1100, 60 at 1800. Rating blends 60% old and 40% new.
Tips to score higher
- Rest a thumb on the pad and react to the colour change, not a mental count.
- Under 200 ms is Lightning, under 250 Cat-quick; most people sit at 250 to 350.
- In Stroop, name the ink silently before looking at the buttons.
- Button positions shuffle each round, so look before tapping.
- A false alarm on a square costs more than a slow tap on a circle.
- Use the free retry when one false start wrecked your reaction phase.
Modes and challenges
- Single 90-second workout of three fixed tests.
- Best score, twelve-run trend chart, tier rating and day streak saved locally.
- One free ad retry per session below your best.
Frequently asked questions
What is a good Tez Reflex score?
Crossing 1100 earns the Sharp tier and 1600 is Rapid. Elite at 2200 needs sub-250 ms reactions plus near-perfect Stroop and Go/No-Go accuracy. Legend at 3000 is rare.
Why did my reaction trial show a cross?
You tapped before the pad turned green. That trial is a false start, scores zero and is excluded from your average reaction time. Wait for the colour change.
How is the Stroop accuracy percentage calculated?
Correct answers divided by all answers given in the 20 seconds. Every tap is either right or wrong. Speed adds bonus points but does not change the percentage.
Do I earn coins every run?
Only when the run scores at least 500, and the amount depends on the score band. The reward goes to your Super King wallet, which is shared across all games.
