How to Play Kabootar
One-tap rage flyer. Flap the pigeon through the rooftops.
Kabootar is a one-tap flying game in the Flappy Bird tradition, with a desi pigeon dodging city rooftops and wires instead of green pipes. Every tap gives an upward flap, gravity pulls the bird straight back down, and the goal is to pass through as many gaps as possible without touching a building, the ground or the sky. The score is the number of gaps cleared.
What makes this version different is the meta layer. Coins float inside some gaps, milestone banners fire at 10, 25, 50, 75 and 100, and every run over 10 earns a medal from Bronze to Diamond. Coins buy skins such as the Tota parrot, the Mor peacock and an auto rickshaw. It is built for portrait phones, so it is a good bus or metro game.
Controls
- Touch: tap anywhere to flap; every tap is one identical upward push.
- Desktop: Space, Up arrow or mouse click flaps and starts the run.
- Crash screen: Use Revive, Watch Ad or Spend 250 Coins to continue once.
- Speaker icon mutes; Kabootar Badlo opens the skin shop.
How to play, step by step
- Tap Udaan Bharo, then tap once more to start; the bird falls immediately.
- Keep the bird level with the next gap using short rhythmic taps.
- Fly through coins sitting in gaps to add to the run counter.
- Each gap passed scores one; banners fire at 10, 25, 50, 75 and 100.
- After a crash use your single revive or end the run, collect coins and check your medal.
Rules and scoring
- One point per gap; touching a building, ground or the top ends the run.
- The gap starts at 210 pixels and shrinks about 3 per gap, down to 152.
- One revive per run by item, ad or 250 coins, and only with a score of 1 or more.
- A Shield item absorbs one crash automatically before the revive offer.
- Run reward is 20 to 60 coins; medals at 10, 20, 35 and 50 points.
Tips to score higher
- Tap to a beat: two quick taps then a pause keeps the bird in a narrow band.
- Aim slightly below gap centre; recovery upward is faster than recovery downward.
- Skip coins at the edge of a gap; a crash costs the whole run.
- After a revive tap immediately or the bird drops straight into the ground.
- Shorten your taps as the score rises because the gap keeps narrowing.
- Open the game daily for the streak toast bonus even if you play one run.
Modes and challenges
- Single endless mode with a saved best score.
- Skin shop: Kabootar free, Tota 600, Mor 1400, Auto rickshaw 2400 coins.
- Medal tiers and milestone banners as a second progression track.
Frequently asked questions
Why did I only get one revive?
The game allows exactly one continue per run. Whether you pay with a Revive item, a rewarded ad or 250 coins, the next crash always ends the run.
How are coins earned in Kabootar?
Coins picked up mid-run are added to your wallet, and every run earns a completion reward between 20 and 60 coins based on score. The Double Coins ad doubles that reward, up to 120.
Does the rickshaw skin fly differently?
No. Every skin uses the same physics, gap sizes and hit box, so skins are purely cosmetic. The Auto is the priciest at 2400 coins because it is the funniest.
Can I play with a keyboard on a laptop?
Yes. Space or the Up arrow flaps and also starts a run from the ready screen. Mouse clicks anywhere on the canvas work as taps too.
