How to Play Candy Super
Match 3, chain cascades, blast striped and wrapped candies. Reach the target.
Candy Super is a match-3 puzzle on an 8 by 8 board with six candy colours. Swap two neighbouring candies to line up three or more of the same colour, they pop, the board collapses, and chain reactions score more with every cascade. Each level sets a target and a move limit, and the target rises as you progress.
The special candies follow the rules match-3 players expect: four in a row makes a striped candy, an L or T shape makes a wrapped candy, five in a row makes a colour bomb. From level 3 the objectives rotate, so some levels ask for striped blasts and others give you only 16 moves.
Controls
- Tap a candy, then tap an adjacent candy to swap them.
- Or press on a candy and drag a short distance up, down, left or right to swap in that direction.
- A swap that makes no match snaps back and does not cost a move.
- The header shows level, score against target, and moves left.
- Mouse clicks and drags do the same on desktop.
How to play, step by step
- Press Play to start your current level; the objective is written on the button.
- Swap two candies to line up three or more in a row or column.
- Matched candies vanish, candies above fall down, and any new matches cascade automatically.
- Make four in a line for a striped candy, an L or T for a wrapped candy, five for a colour bomb.
- Swap a striped candy to clear its whole row or column; a wrapped candy explodes its neighbourhood; a colour bomb removes every candy of the colour you swap it with.
- Reach the score or objective before moves run out to clear the level and earn coins.
Rules and scoring
- Each cleared candy scores 10 plus 5 times the cascade depth, so a third-step chain pays 25 per candy.
- Score levels give 25 moves; Rush levels give 16 moves for a lower target; Striped levels ask you to blast a set number of striped candies within 25 moves.
- Targets are rounded to the nearest 50 and rise quickly early, then flatten toward a skill ceiling.
- Winning pays 100 coins plus 50 per level; losing pays 1 coin per 100 points scored.
- If no legal swap exists the board reshuffles automatically.
Tips to score higher
- Match near the bottom of the board first; falling candies above create free cascades that pay more per candy.
- Do not fire a striped candy immediately; wait until its row or column crosses a cluster you cannot reach.
- Swap a striped candy with a wrapped candy only if it is the last move; there is no combo bonus, so use each separately.
- On Rush levels every move must score; skip any swap that clears exactly three candies with nothing above.
- On Striped levels the target is small (2 to 4 striped candies); look for four-in-a-row setups instead of chasing score.
- A colour bomb on the most common colour can clear a third of the board and trigger multi-step cascades.
Modes and challenges
- A single level ladder with three rotating objectives: Reach a score, 16-move Rush, and Striped blast.
- Progress and current level are saved on the device.
- Challenge A Friend shares your level result.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a wrapped candy?
Form an L or T shape where one candy belongs to both a horizontal and a vertical match at the same time. That shared candy becomes wrapped and explodes a 3 by 3 area when matched.
Why did my level end with moves still left?
Score and Rush levels finish the moment you reach the target. Striped levels end when the required number of striped candies has been blasted.
Do cascades cost moves?
No. Only your swap counts as a move.
Does the board ever run out of moves?
The game checks after every cascade. If there is no legal swap it reshuffles the candies without costing you a move.
